Sally Kern May Possibly Be a Little Bit Racist.

During a debate over ending affirmative action in Oklahoma state government a few weeks back, Rep. Sally Kern (R) completed the impressive wingnut quadruple circuit of bigotry by adding racism to her existing repertoire of homophobia, Islamophobia, and sexism.

“We have a high percentage of blacks in prison, and that’s tragic,” Kern said, “but are they in prison just because they are black or because they don’t want to study as hard in school?

And why don’t they want to study hard in school, Rep. Kern?  Is it because they know the socialist government installed by that Kenyan usurper Obama will allow them to live a life of luxury on the welfare checks paid for by hard working white Americans who would never think of taking a handout from the government?

“I’ve taught school,” she added, “and I saw a lot of people of color who didn’t study hard because they said the government would take care of them.”

Questionable anecdotal evidence?  You’ve convinced me, Rep. Kern.

Fans of Rep. Sally Kern were very impressed with her racist display.  If asked for comment, they may have said, “It was another home run hit by my Representative.  Just a beautiful display of bigotry.  She is so underrated.  I mean, the headlines will all talk about her racism today, but did you notice how she subtly slipped in the sexism as well, making it a two for one of hate?”

The sexist comment the non-existent fan would have been referring to was Kern’s insistence that the reason women make less money than men has nothing to do with a sexist society,  rather they make less than men because “they tend to spend more time at home with their families.

A quick look back at Sally Kern’s career reveals a representative as skilled with bigotry as she is delusional.  She was one of the few voices defending Oklahoma from the creeping threat of Sharia law back in 2011, and we all know how that turned out.  If only we would have listened to her, perhaps Oklahoma wouldn’t have become the first Islamic Caliphate in the United States.  Wait a second…..

The hit that truly endeared her to wingnuts everywhere, however, had to be her rabid homophobic comments in 2008, exposing the homosexual infiltration of city councils.

— “Studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted more than, you know, a few decades. So it’s the death knell of this country.”

– “I honestly think it’s the biggest threat our nation has, even more so than terrorism or Islam, which I think is a big threat.”

– “Gays are infiltrating city councils.”

Most political observers were doubtful that Rep. Kern would ever be able to finish the cycle of hate.  A well-known political commentator that I didn’t try to contact probably would not have said, “I’m very surprised that she made the racism play, and will be interested to see if it costs her politically.  Since she is a women, she has a ready made cover for her sexism, and Islamophobia is a tap in in our society.  But with homosexuality becoming more and more accepted everyday and the vitriol she has used to attack the GLBT community in the past, I never thought she would risk adding racism into the mix as well. ”

Her fans never doubted that she would complete the cycle, however.  If I would have found one to interview, I am sure he would have said,” Our faith in Rep. Kern never wavered!  She took on the queers, she stood up to the towelheads, she bitchslapped the feminazi’s, we all knew it was just a matter of time until she went after the n—–r’s.”

Rep. Sally Kern, everyone.  Your democracy in action.
